Jordan Oliver (Bob Dishy) is a businessman who embezzles $250,000 from the firm his father founded and, after being caught, is given 30 days to pay back the money or face a jail sentence. With no funds to pay back the company and his rich wife looking to divorce him, Oliver decides to take out a large insurance policy on his wife and then have a hit man kill her in order to collect the needed money. Finding out the policy in invalid, Oliver desperately tries to stop the hit man he hired from completing the assignment, but finds out that the job has been sub-contracted out to other hit men.
